There is a bombshell we the public don't know
I am convince that within the club something has gone horribly wrong.
I do expect more people to be leaving ,, gonna be a long hard road ahead i think.
Love to be wrong , but i have a very bad feeling on this.

Controversy
Headlines
Premierships lost by tiny amounts
Financial incompetence
Unwanted relocation
Players crucified at the tribunal
Sackings
Walkouts
Scandals
Everytime things look to be going well, something else goes wrong.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

How is it an overreaction? Do you honestly think people are just leaving because Seaford is too far to drive to every day? Something is going on, I would of thought it's pretty obvious.savatage wrote:Typical overreaction and hysteria. Settle down.
Maybe we should of offered to go to the GC when north declined. At least we would of won one of the two GF's and have a healthy future. The way we are going 'Kimberly' will win a premiership before us. They are not a team yet but will probably come into the AFL around 2045
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

So we're the only club to struggle financially ever?
We're the only club to get 'crucified' at the tribunal?
We're the only club to sack anyone??!!
We're the only club to have people leave or walk out?
We're the only club with scandals????
We're the only club with controversy and headlines??
We're the only club to lose Grand Finals??!
Fair dinkum. With all due respect, that is just so utterly ridiculous and pathetic that I'm finding it hard to respond without being really rude.

I think you're overthinking it.
SB: Was it untenable for you to stay at St Kilda because of relationship breakdowns?
RL: I think in the end my decision tells you that I thought it was best to go.
If a situation is untenable, doesn't that normally refer to a relationship breakdown?
If it was some kind of scandal, not sure his buddy Roos and others would hint at a relationship breakdown? His swipe at the presser about 6 months as opposed to 72 hours appeared emotive, I'd say he has fallen out with the big boys.

All I'm READING is hysteria & overreaction - everyone just needs to chill the f*** out.saintdooley wrote:How is it an overreaction? Who is this everyone leaving you refer to?? The head coach?? Purely a decision based on money, despite all the PR spin you're currently reading.
His support staff ? Are they the other people we are jumping at shadows at? Fact...the coach appoints his support team - when the coach leaves, so too do most of the staff he appointed. You can bet your ass when our new coach comes in he will appoint a whole new panel.
If we refer to THIS time last year - we lost our ENTIRE panel of assistant coaches, the media said we were in crisis & that Ross Lyon was the cause & was impossible to deal with...cut to this year & pictures of Ross the family man with his children in the playground appear sympathising with the great man....fickle bunch...

Definitely has that undertone...meh...he was an employee of the club, and if you can't work with the boss, don't stay. His lousy exit spoke volumes about his character though, so I'm glad he's gone and everyone's moving on. Everyone else (Lyon, press, Fremantle) can try justify it to themselves all any way they like.SainterK wrote:I'd say he has fallen out with the big boys.
