Can't see it happening but I have good feelings about everything that has happened - the club isn't the rabble it once was despite media perception.

I hope they do win this year under MM because then Bucks can only fail. In order to replace a coach the incoming coach has to improve the performance of the side otherwise he is by definition a failure. So unless Buckley can get the Pies to win every single game by record margins and then win the next 3 flags he can only ever be seen as a failure. He is on a hiding to nothing taking over now.

Winning over the next two years will be because he took over MM's team and nothing really to do with him. A trained monkey could get the Pies to the final with the team Bucks will be handed. That will be the perception.

Imagine if they win this year and then fail to win it next year the pie's supporters will be screaming for Buckley's blood and Eddie will appease them.
