plus Eddy & Gaertner free up a spot each…borderbarry wrote:My eight to go from the Senior List this year would be,
Baker Gardiner McQualter, all already gone.
Heyne demoted.
Cahill
johnson
plus trade two in an effort to get either O'Meara or Crouch or high draft picks There is also the possibility that someone may want to follow Ross to Freo.
We would have to trade a Joey or similat to get one of those guys. Surely that isnt worth the risk unless we are totally rebuilding.borderbarry wrote:My eight to go from the Senior List this year would be,

i guess i'm anticipating a skills focus, with pelchen's preferences and the way the game is going. johnson and archer aren't great with the footy, while heyne is a good kick (i believe) and cahill decent. safe to say none of them are close to afl standard yet, but it's easier to improve attitude than basic skills.mad saint guy wrote:bergholt wrote:Why would Heyne and Cahill, two players who have been poor at VFL level stay ahead of two players who have performed well in Johnson and Archer?
I'd love to go for O'Meara, what will be our top pick this year? We need a marqee player for when big 4 or 5 retire. I'm worried we will lose one of our big names, BJ will be the biggest loss on our list.
I'm suprised CJ's name keeps coming up, sure, the bloke has two opposite feet when it comes to skills, but he has done a number on so many guns over the past couple of years.
Gram, Gilbert, first pick in our draft to GWS for pick one in the 17 year olds draft. Won't happen but will be a cracker of a deal.
We have to deal with GWS with their picks, looking at the deals from last year, Freo's deal for Mzungu and Pies deal for Krak were awesome deals, recruiting this year is possibly the only thing I have confidence with with Pelchen in charge.
Are any of the kids we have tradeable? Like Walsh or Lynch? They may have some form of value too.
