Lyon brought him to the club!

This is just the start!
The board needs to be sacked immediately!
Still not as bad as the 1800's

'Goodness gracious me!' said Henny-penny; 'the sky's a-going to fall; I must go and tell the king.'
Not sure why the board suddenly needs to be sacked, these guys move around all the time… The next coach might have brought in someone else anyway.
Maybe he got offered double the pay by Melbourne, no board can stop poaching unless they have a bottomless pit of cash - which we don't.
chillax everyone, as has been pointed out, our fitness hasn't exactly been perfect this year.

They only go out there once a week if that. Most of their work is done at AAMI Park.Joffa 5 wrote:Is driving to Casey Fields really any better???B W and R all over wrote:He's off to Melbourne.
I blame that on the Seaford thing as much as anything else.

Sainterman said in part :
History tells us that in these types of turbulent situations, cover-ups cannot be held off forever and eventually, "the truth gets out." Only then, can worthwhile action begin to be taken. Some of us do know more and are not going to publish it on an interent forum for all to see.

If you were so desperate to unseat the current board wouldn't telling everybody what you know actually help your cause??
What is your reason behind big noting and boasting about "what you know"
Is it a power thing?? or .... Are you worried that your sources are unreliable??
Nothing worse than someone who big notes about what they know but can't tell - seriously either fess up or shut up!!!

AND SO WHY DOES "THE SOLUTION" ACCORDING TO YOU ONLY INVOLVE GETTING ONE HUNDRED PERCENT BEHIND THE CURRENT BOARD?thejiggingsaint wrote:The saddest thing about all this is how SOME posters are almost ecstatic at the prospect of the club "imploding" (just as they were in 2006 post GT, and when the Footy first board were elected) Excuse me if I prefer to be a part of the solution!
Excuse me BUT IMO the SOLUTION to getting the club back on track starts with the removal of theses clowns who are responsible for this mess
before they completely **** things up any more, if that's at all possible!!
The Seaford move is an absolute disgrace
Losing Lyon, now Misson, many players will walk soon
and with free Agency coming, watch what happens
1.5 million dollar losses after making back to back Grand Finals
WAKE UP!

Well, I'm not saying it couldn't happen. That day I went to the Bay to Birdwood classic car rally, and the Victorian MG Car Club contingent turned up, about 90% were Cats fans and every car was adorned with Geelong blue and white...I felt great...really great.perfectionist wrote:And what will be the final act? Now all we need is a few senior players to go, and the season will almost be complete!
Our slogan for 2011 should have been "St Kilda FC...what the F*** now!?!"
Anyway, sack all the board...don't stop until there's no-one left.
You'd think the new coach would be happy to have Misson on board....but I think your right that no one is irreplaceable...Dr Spaceman wrote:Well it's just an opportunity for someone else to have a crack.
And we're getting a new coach and usually they like their own people in place. Maybe the new coach would've given Dave the flick anyway.
How do you know the players will leave because of Seaford, and not because our list is on the decline?barks4eva wrote:AND SO WHY DOES "THE SOLUTION" ACCORDING TO YOU ONLY INVOLVE GETTING ONE HUNDRED PERCENT BEHIND THE CURRENT BOARD?thejiggingsaint wrote:The saddest thing about all this is how SOME posters are almost ecstatic at the prospect of the club "imploding" (just as they were in 2006 post GT, and when the Footy first board were elected) Excuse me if I prefer to be a part of the solution!

This latest situation makes the coaching position even more important that we get it right.
For me, in this environment, we need a mature, experienced coach who is capable of handling all of the internal issues. Chocko would be a good fit as he has seen all this before. He is also very good with the development of young players.

C'mon mate...Sainterman is only using a public forum to call for sacking of several board members, and no doubt for a good reason, give him a break.Devilhead wrote:Cmon Sainterman spill the beans???degruch wrote:Why not?Sainterman wrote:Some of us do know more and are not going to publish it on an interent forum for all to see.
