the top 4 teams

Post: # 1144502Post SaintWodonga »

All teams remaining have won a flag within the last 10 years.

It's such a shame we didn't finish off our season in 09, or a ball bounce in 2010.

As much as I love the 1966 GF, I am also sick of it. We really need new flag heroes.

Question is does anyone think we can do a Geelong (this year's) with a new coach? Can we reinvent ourselves and get back in the top 4?

We are getting a very handy player back,in Hayes, which would have won us a few more games this year.

I do think we can climb up again, however, we must have skill into the team.

I do think RL put too much faith into certain players.

Yes we can....if we get the right Coach and that needs to be Roos or Malthouse.

The top 4 have on every premiership from 2006-2010. The 2005 premier was Swans who finished 6th. I think it shows that things change slowly and once you are out of the top echelon its hard to break back in. We should still be trying to win a flag with this group because if we clean out and start again it could be a decade or more before any hope of a flag.
