Yes......plugger..
Very much hindsight......as i have told you a number of times..
The 2010 Draft is one I know little about, due to work commitments and having enough.....after the 2009 debarcle...
But i did read the profiles before the draft.....on that info alone.....he should have gone 10-20.....left to a second round....he was a bargain....absolutely
Considering 12 months before he was in the top ten for talent but ineligeable....he had an average carnival and an issue off field......but you dont lose ability....only form
WCE said this straight after the Draft
They believed they got two top 5 picks and were ecstatic

Wow. I have never heard a club say that before. And from a profile you can pick where a player should go. No point in having recruiting officers anymore we just need book worms.BigMart wrote:Yes......plugger..

Rattan is an outstanding coach and was an outstanding player.
Rattan was carlton's Nathan Burke. He made outside players like bradley and fraser brown.
I have a great deal of respect for Rattan as a foe. He's lifted carlton out of the malaise that was brittan and Pagan.
They are a much more potent force than before him, and had they Kruezer and jamieson would be in a prelim right now.
It would hurt a great deal if they won another premiership before us given their troubles for the previous decade.
Rattan is a carlton man, a carlton champion and a carlton coach of good quality. The snakes around him, maybe not so much.
Whether you like it or not, carlton will be a force in the AFL for hte next 5 to 6 years.
I actually hope they sack him, because he is a threat.

Agree with Bigcarl. He over-umpires (well, he did in the first half) and makes it all about him. Arrogant little scrote.perfectionist wrote:Didn't see any mistakes from him.
