I find Gerard a bit arrogant at times but there's no doubt he's a great caller and a terrific journalist. And this piece encapsulates my entire feeling on the subject. Ross had every opportunity to leave with class and dignity, instead he leaves looking like mercenary.

It ain't a popular decision in perth either. wonder if there will be any fallout over here.

Perthnow running a poll about Harveys sacking, 8700votes, 75% say he shouldnt have been sacked.

If Fremantle fail to succeed it could go down as one of the biggest blunders in AFL history.
