Curious on where people stand membership wise
Just heard a bit of talk back, and wondered where people sat.

As long as I remember I've been a St Kilda person. Nothing will change that. The Ross Lyons etc come and go.
Things change quickly. The timing seems bad, but who knows? It might throw up someone who is ideal for us. Allan Jeans didn't exactly take over as a known quantity, or in propitious circumstances.
We have to look at it as an opportunity.

This whole ugly footy thing is a massive beat up, usually by supporters of jealous clubs!!!
Any supporter who gave up their membership, or stopped attending games, because of this "ugly footy" perception is not worth having as support.
If we were playing ugly footy and getting hammered every week, then there would be some merit, but who cares how you play the game, if you win 20, 15 and 12 games across 3 season.

My Wife and I didn't renew this year as we have babies and can't go to night games. I was looking forward to renewing next year as my eldest will be 3 and he loves going. I have supported the Saints through the 80's till now. I am wavering!!! I am not sure I want to subject my son to the ongoing pain that it is to be a St Kilda supporter. Very dissapointed with the whole situation. I need a month or two to hopefully calm down get excited again.
My Wife last night raised the topic of changing teams for the sake of our kids!! I said that is not an option. Very upset that she would even think of it.
We loved Ross's integrity and his game plan while ugly, is a winning game plan. Premierships are based on great defence.
...Still very pissed off.
