Coaching vacuum

Who better to fill the void left by rl than his mentor, Paul Roos, at least he knows what it takes to coach a team to a premiership!

Failing that, Eade, Williams and Malthouse would be my next best choices in that order.

I put Malthouse last due to his age and Williams has had a year out of the game, come to think of it so has Roos!

its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!

Sing it loud and sing it proud but most of all hang around for this club will rise to claim the prize and then we will realise its not such a surprise. :-)

Don't let the coaching selection process scare you people.

This time we won't be hiring:

* A friend of the Pres, with little coaching experience and a massive ego.

* An old retired bloke who we had to bribe off the golf course.

*A favourite son and legend of a rival club, who had no experience but was a media darling.

The rookie applicants you get these days are far more advanced than in the past.  And the young guys are up with the latest trends in game play and have spent many years learning from the best.

We got it right the last time, despite how it's turned out. And by all accounts, if we hadn't lured Ross we would have got Longmire who looks to be going okay.

So I'm happy to go with a newbie and hope we manage to nab a bewdy.

You need your gut re-calibrated. Seems like it has connected with your heart.

Banger is no chance - Ill give you 100-1.

Time, time, time - lots of Clubs looking and we are well behind.

I doubt whether the Club knows what it wants and a "committee" process is not known for it's decision-making speed.

Let's hope that we move with some urgency, or the best candidates will be gone !

After hearing a voice of reason like Gerard Whately say it, I now can see Rocket Eade as being a pretty damn good coach at our club.

I'd like to see Banger with either Roos or Eade providing the mentoring role.
