After watching that press conference, I am really proud of the President and CEO, they handled themselves exceptionally. No point being nasty, it wont change anything.

Let Ross answer for his actions. Lets hope the media ask him the hard questions later today.

OK, so we present a completely unemotional press conference that refuses to say a bad word about Ross. Are we all happy with this?

Does the St Kilda Football Club really have "admiration" for RL after all of this?

Perhaps the idea is to let the media feed directly from Ross Lyon at his own press conference. I wonder how hard the media will go at 2pm today?

Not sure I am all that happy with how we presented ourselves and wonder what part our admin played in all of this. Seemed very careful not to say anything negative.

Thought those 2 guys spoke very well. Especially Westaway, seems like a "No BS" kinda guy. Of course they couldn't get out there and say what they really thought.

Looking forward to seeing how the search goes - never a dull moment at St Kilda.

The Club has handled this situation very professionally. I am sure how they feel is quite different but whats the point in spitting the dummy, just makes you look like a fool.

Bloody hell just watching the media harass Harvey at Perth airport, really feel for the guy.

Still cant believe this has happened and very angry with Ross Lyon.

Everyone knows that Nettlefold and Westaway wnated to call Lyon and Freo duplicitious, unprofessional, and backstabbers, because that exactly what they are...

but what purpose would that serve apart from making some supporters feel better. It wouldn't change the situation, and would drag the club down to Lyon and Fremantles level.

The club has a job to do. We need a coach who will commit to a rebuild of our shabby list.

And we need to give him time to do it.

Lyon is gone, he wasn't committed, he has turned out to be of questionable character, we are better off without him.

Good answer - Get Lyon to answer the questions about lying to the players, and dealing with a club behind his representation's back and while he was supposed to be steering the club towards a finals birth.

I couldnt care less thats hes gone. Im excited about the prospect of seeing some youth injected into the club and no more rejects recruited.

Well he's going to be trying to justify his position somehow - so expect criticism! I doubt he's going to come out and say, i did it just for the money....although that would be refreshing.
