Congratulation Ross on deciding to stay

Has this actually been confirmed and verified?
How is one post on Twitter or 3AW saying that RL is staying any more reliable than the numerous other tweets saying that he's going?
I only just came online so I might have missed some big announcement, but until the club or RL himself says anything isn't it all just speculation?

I for one won't believe if RL is going or staying until official confirmation is given.battye wrote:Has this actually been confirmed and verified?

I think Ross had a game plan and a group of players that almost brought success in 2009 & 2010 and was therefore reluctant to change things too much.SainterK wrote:Players?DWOODROW wrote:What do you think he will change next year??Spinner wrote:DWOODROW wrote:Well if he is staying for another year at least we all know what kind of football they will be playing next year.

But he's a smart fella and this year would have convinced him of the need to change both the plan and the personnel.
People can be as cynical as they like but I take Ross at his word when he talks about the end of an era.
Things will be different in 2012.Â

People who critisize Ross's gameplan know nothing about winning in sports.
Ross's gameplan is such that the worst he'll ever do with regards to winning percentage is break even.
When we have "bad" years under ross, like this year and 2007, we will win roughly half our games. Now, that's a damn sight better than win 5 in a season, is it not? A winning culture is more important than high draft picks.
When we have a "good" season under Ross... Well, you witnessed '09, no?
Was it the game plan that lost us the '09 GF? No, it was the players who failed to execute it properly. Same thing happened against the swans on the W/E.
There is nothing wrong with Ross's gameplan, in fact, it is such a strong game plan (because it puts a premium on defense) that, as I said, the worst you'll ever see us do with it is to win just half of the time.

"Too big, too strong, too whatever."
