Typical. If he announced he was going to the Dees it would be everywhere.

I think a lot in the media have adopted an Ablett/Scully approach to all this.
That is, how can Ross possibly knock back a once in a lifetime offer? Never mind that the amazing Demon's offer has never been confirmed. I'm yet to hear Garry or anyone else at the club come out and say "we've got 5 years and $5 million to offer to the right man".
The media has picked up on our pre season troubles and poor start to the season and Walls' comments that Ross should leave. They've added Roos' name in there though I'm yet to see anything from the ex Swans coach to match Walls' early season bitterness. In doing all this they've conveniently forgotten the team's fightback from adversity and Lyon's pride that has been clearly on display during all media appearances in that time.
Take away the speculation and look at the facts and there's not much there.
Ross will stay. But only if we want him and only if that is displayed by putting a reasonable offer to him.Â
There's no need for the Saints to match Melbourne's offer - whether that offer be real or imagined.
