Elvis is with me. We're just hangin' by the pool. Pink drinks with little umbrellas. Doin' lines off the small of Marilyn's back.tony74 wrote:Is Elvis there?dcstkfc wrote:Ross is hangin with OJ Simpson on a grassy knoll speeding away from the paparazzi with Dodi Al-Fayed.
So no is your answer.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

if they don't want him then we are members don't want them running the club simple as that and they will be removed first opportunity we have!Johnny Member wrote:Maybe the club doesn't actually want him that bad?Teflon wrote:If so, sack the Board.
This is a fargon disgrace - outbid by a deplorable rabble in melbourne.
What kind of a joke are we running?
Maybe they weren't outbid at all. Maybe they are happy for him to move on.

And if Seaford is such a big problem they can all F*** off or have a teaspoon of cement and harden up.barks4eva wrote:Teflon wrote:IF Lyon goes - "Footy First" should go with him.
Just disgraceful that a coach who MOST with half a brain acknowledge as one of the top 3 in the comp could be let walk by this limp wristed administration.
I feel a typical St Kilda implosion coming at a time when we needed to sign up Lyon and stay strong.
Fkn gutted if this is true -
AGREE 100%
They inherited Lyon and rode on his coat tails
It looks like the clowns have managed to screw things up monumentally
Nettlefold on FC was VERY UNIMPRESSIVE
Why would you agree to go on in the first place when you do not have the whole issue sorted.
Just another example of the poor judgement this current rabble of a board serve up.
Who voted for these idiots?
and EXTREMELY dissapointed in Ross Lyon if so.
You could not blame Lyon if
1. Melbourne offer 5 years and the best the putting their foot in it first clowns offer is a two year extension WITH CONDITIONS
2. Melbourne train five minutes down the road from where he lives and he does not have to drive ( there and back ) for an hour and a half every day down to Seaford.
When Tudor left Lyon made mention of Seaford being a factor in his decision to leave.
Thats Mr. Smartarse to you

That's what members are entitled to do.
But a board is put in place to make decisions. I'd rather they make one (right or wrong) than be outplayed by another club.
Having said that, it we are 'outplayed', then Ross Lyon is the one my agnst would be directed at.

If its the reputation that are has, can you tell me how its worse than anywhere else in the south eastern suburbs (no offence to anyone who lives there, I don't know anything about it, just going on reputation alone)
If the facilities are better than anywhere else we've been (at least better than Moorabbin) I can't see how the move would be a negative thing.

If you were offered FIVE YEARS, more coin and a workplace five minutes drive from home
OR
Three years WITH CONDITIONS that involved over one and half hours driving most days
what would you do?
GET REAL
If that's the case the players and staff are all soft! I spend 1.5 hours on the road traveling 5 days a week and I don't get paid the big bucks like these so called professionals. If they need a GOD DAMN CAFE BUILD THE FARKIN THING OUT THERE!!!!!!!!barks4eva wrote:Buckets wrote:And if Seaford is such a big problem they can all F*** off or have a teaspoon of cement and harden up.barks4eva wrote:Teflon wrote:IF Lyon goes - "Footy First" should go with him.

Gottta agree with Barks here. Can't blame Ross for wanting to chase some more coin for less of a trip. I would do it in a heartbeat. (Mind you I commute three and a half hours a day)barks4eva wrote:WHY?Johnny Member wrote:Which is fair enough.redwhite&blackblood wrote:if they don't want him then we are members don't want them running the club simple as that and they will be removed first opportunity we have!Johnny Member wrote:Maybe the club doesn't actually want him that bad?Teflon wrote:If so, sack the Board.
