I think he has been playing injured for the whole season..and he has been playing through the pain barrier. Imagine all the injections and crap before the game, I feel for him.

I hope that Rooey does take the time to get himself right. I do wonder if he will ever be the player we all know with his knee problem. I think Rooey looks very thin and has no muscle tone at all. I imagine he has not done much training at all this season. It doesn't make him look good when some of our players can't pass the ball to him in the correct manner. So many went over his head or to the side. Lets hope that 2012 is a better year for all.

Well said SainterK, Nick has done his very best. He is a proud man and like all of us, if we are honest, though absolutely heart breaking, glad season 2001 is over. I sadly fear his story may be similar to Aaron Hamill, I hope I'm wrong.

Your head doesn't make you pull up sore after running 50 metres for a mark.
Your head doesn't make turning a major effort.
