Some of the more silly comments i have read here....

Being one of the greatest chf's of all time....requires a touch of courage....you cannot get to that point without it

Fair enough. Marto's talking about courage though.

Not knocking the bloke, just quoting perceptions of his contemporaries and my own disappointment in 97 GF performance(know the mitigating circumstances)

He played 320 other games......

Sorry to get defensive......but loewey was a hero to me, because of his unnerving ability to contest high ball without hesitation....with his eyes on the ball only..

Agree to disagree then. My definition of courage is not of a purely physical nature but more of a never say die attitude e.g LENNY/bj'S 2HD HALF PERFORMANCES IN gf1 2010

Where are the sack Rooy as captain threads? Or do we only sack him when he plays poorly.

Played like the Riewoldt of old. Maybe he's decided to relinquish the captaincy at the end of the season?

Maybe he has been out of form and got some back last night. The one thing we all know is that he will be Captain next year.

Let's see how the rest of the season goes first and how his form is from here on in

People are allowed to question

I am a staunch defender....to me, he is in the top three captains in the aff

Hodge and judd the other two...

But it is a posters right to query, dont agree....Make a decent counter argume....rather than ridicule the suggestion....gain some needed credibility

No Luke Ball? Not sure Loewe fits in that company either.
WTF!? Loewe certainly fits in that company. Ball certainly doesn't, the traitorous prick!

Hopefully his performance last night, and also the rest of the team's will make more supporters come down to the G to watch the last game against the Blues. I know it's the last game and we're already in the Finals, but we just want to make sure that we get a home final!

Brilliant captain for our club. He's very critical of his own performance and always tries his hardest to lead by example. Couldn't be happier having him as the skip.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!
