Body language was much better. Didn't complain to the umps or to team mates when he got poor delivery/or pushed/slapped/punched

It was like seeing the old Nick tonight. If he keeps it up, and Kossie does as well, we could take it up to the top teams in the finals.

True champions aren't always the ones that win, but those with the most guts - Mia Hamm

Took me back to Burkey's last game in 2003. Rooey got ko'd and came back to bag some goals, and the current era was born.

Loved the way he pushed the trainer/doctor away and said I'm staying on.

This man showed extreme courage tonight. The reason why he is our captain.

Let's see if he can back it up at the G against proper opposition.

Sometimes you look back at incidents like that and say : "that was the moment".

Here's hoping.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

No Luke Ball? Not sure Loewe fits in that company either.

Hate to paraphrase my old country slogans here, but these colours don't run at St Kilda...and certainly don't run to them

So no

Great game, Jay-Z is goneski, and was responsible for firing him up that bit more.

Nice work Nick :)

Strange view. Loewe had absolutely no fear of anything.

Yes to Bally....absolutely....

If you believe Loewey wasnt courageous.....you aint played CHF for 320 games or at all for that manner....

He probably contested more pack marks than any other player ever.... Super eyes for the ball courage

There was aview amongst opposition defenders and some high profile Saints team mates that a clip behind the ear early in the game was all it took to put Stewie off his game!

He outlasted all those high profile teammates. I never saw him shirk an issue.

Didn't say he dogged it,more that he iced games rather than turned them around.

Surprising he played 320 odd games in the toughest gig.....took the most contested grabs by anyone and gave many high profile defenders a bath...

He did not have a nasty streak.....but never took his eyes off the pill....and it was put on his head thousands of times....
