I reckon Walsh could have been more effective than either of the two ins. I agree with Big Carl. Gutless selections.

Basically what we were told by RL during the week. No surprises there. Seems OK to me but Blake is lucky.

Agreed picking Crocker would have shown guts. Have you seen Walsh play BB?

What if WALSH now left !

What if WALSH now left !

Noone would blame him for looking for other senior AFL options now...What is going on with our selectors? Wow I cant believe their lack of forsight and there understanding of the importance of goal kicking strengths.

Where is the sense of adventure and the need to generate some excitement about the place !

It's an outrage that a team with nothing to lose wouldn't speculate on a guy with zero experience a couple of weeks out from the finals. Sack them and send em to the Dees.

He hasnt played a game so if he left it would be like Eljay Conners leaving 2 years a go.

Eljay Connors would have won us the 2009 flag. Was better than Walsh.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. PISS WEAK

If we miss the finals or scrape in, it matters little in the long term

BUT

this year we had a chance to introduce a big body almost 24 YO who was a dominant superstar player in the irish comp

Brisbane have introduced a couple of irish kids who have excelled for them

We have the gun from their comp at almost 24 and he still does not get a game even after being in the best players for Sandy nearly every week

absolute bollocks

just kicked 6 and won the game for Sandy last week

but our forwardline is going gangbusters so I suppose it's understandable

Plugger there is significant difference between those two players ...

Why do you think Tudor and Silvagni are no longer with us.

Clearly we need Kosi to back up Macca with the North rucks in fine form- we don't have any other rucks and we need Zac's height and attack down back, and given Schneider's lack of impact on the scroreboard, I could easily give him a rest and slot Walsh in to the forward line for a try at least, but RL doesn't take a risk and that is why he won't get a flag.

So he should be sacked in your opinion?

Plugger surely Walsh's form should get him a senior gig.

Yes one is from Ireland and the other Echuca but apart from that they are both seconds players at the moment.

I have no idea as I havent seen him play in the last 6 weeks. I have a feeling a few on here wanting him in havent either but i reckon most of our selectors have seen him play in that time.

Poor decision. What does Walsh have to do to get a game? Kick 10? 12? Get in the best in the VFL for 50 games straight?

Would have given a hell of a lot more than Blake or Gilbert.

Anybody that kicks 6 in the VFL and is not playing full forward, deserves a go. Not acording to Plugger66 though.
