I'd rather wear the pants you crapped in.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. I'd rather bring back GT to finish off the job. But Ross doesn't strike me as a quitter and I hope he stays.

Sorry to say I,m not in the know, but just report what I see and am told. I get to training regularly and the players know my face and often will say hello. I do know one of the boys in the coaching panel/admin reasonably well but the club is so professional these days they tow the company line.

All I know is the place seems pretty happy. I think Ross will stay, in fact I'm pretty certain of it. He has instilled trust and integrity in the players and will lead by example. It's just up to both parties to work out the finer details.

In Ross we trust.

It's only a rumour, but if Alfred E. Neumman, aka Brett Ratten, fails to get Carlscum to a preliminary final, he will get the chop, with Ross as their first choice for a replacement. That has me more worried than the Melbourne approach, because it would be tempting to go to a club that is in a position to genuinely challenge over the next few years, rather than take a punt on the rabble that is Melbourne. I know he's contracted, but that appears to mean little in the world of AFL.

I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Eh? You should listen to it again. He specifically said "We see Tommy Walsh as a power forward."

He is the most obvious Roo replacement.

As for Kosi's replacement, Stanley is a possibility who I think is unlikely to make it. However, I can certainly see us picking up a recycled player perhaps at the end of next season to replace Kosi.

I want him to stay if he wants to stay. I want him to leave even if he has a 5% doubt about staying. He isnt the messiah. Hope he stays but dont care if he goes and i for one will not criticize him leaving.

What about the forward line.

Post: # 1125317Post oh when »

I like the way Ross is very professional in his public support for players, he never bags them in public, and he has given us the best years of football this Club has had, except for 66. I am disappointed that for the whole year our forward line has struggled to kick goals and the strength of the last two years to keep the ball in the zone with our tackilng pressure, has gone. I have not seen any changes from Ross to improve the forward line. He played Siposs for 3 games then we don't see him again. The forward line failed in the GF's and will again against better sides. When is he going to do something about it.

This isn't the FIRST time someone has been labeled "Looks like Tarzan- Plays like Jane". The most recent that I can remember was Fraser Gehrig. If Rhys Stanley turns out to be 1/2 as good as the Big G for us I'll be happy !!

If he leaves, I hope the club sues him for breach of contract or extracts a huge sum of money from whichever club buys him.

If Malthouse became coach I would not renew my membership until he left. Even a flag would be sullied by having that vermin at our club.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

So you want to keep a coach that doesnt want to stay. What does that achieve. If he leaves you would gather the reason is he doesnt want to stay. If MM becomes coach it would be unbelievable for the club but it wont happen. They may lose a few like you but that would be outwayed many times over by the people joining.

Bit like the LB situation.

Good luck to the next bloke that decides to leave, nominate a club, and have that club offer next to nothing.

Also a bit like the Bomber situation...

If its all smooth sailing, people will not think twice about the implications of moving here or there.

I would dearly love him to stay.

He would be a HUGE loss to the club is he were to leave us for Melbourne, as the rumours as saying.

Who on earth could replace him?

R.Harvey?
