If only the rest of the team had the courage Sean has. Get well we need you fit and firing.

He had a real go today, and a pity he got clobbered. He is one of our best.

He was a rock in the backline. Can hold his head high and hope he's all good after the knock.

And he should have been sent to Dangerman.

That is twice he has been KO'd in a game this season.

Can't question the man's integrity to put his body on the line.

I agree. It'd be great if every player on the team could show his sort of courage.

He would be close to top 5 in the B & F

One thing I noticed about him is that he constantly went for the mark instead of the punch in the back line. Shows he's full of confidence....Unlike some.

It seems to be the way doesn't it.

If you are a defender who doesn't have a flamboyant style and you are selfless in putting your neck on the line, week after week, the fans will come down on you like a ton of bricks for making a split second mistake. Pretty sure our defense has been at its misely best in making difficult for virtually every team, week after week to score goals.

If anything, supporters should be more critical of our forwards. A part from the likes of Milne, most of them have really lacked conistency this season.

agreed all round... a defensive mark is as powerful as one round the ground. why not take one instead of fisting to the line.

Hope he is OK, that's another massive head clash this year...

Raph too, that neck injury potentially could of been really bad...thankfully he seemed OK.

They both continue to put their bodies on the line, that's for sure.

Sean has always been a very courageous player. AFL sure is a tough gig at times. I just hope that he is ok.

Sean Dempster is a ripper, I've sung his praises before on this forum. Finally I think we're all starting to understand how important he is to us. A little guy with a ton of courage who plays a lot like Max Hudghton used to - absolutely no regard for personal welfare, team comes first.

Hope you're back next week Sean, we definitely need you!

PS. I echo the sentiments of a lot of people on this forum with regards to Tommy Waksh....it's time!

Need the "like button" again. Totally agree. We had the ball when the play was "finally" stopped to take Sean off. Why was it a ball up, which resulted in a goal?

Seany D is a courageous ripper, but he was wearing the wrong boots today. Would've slipped over 5 times.

The umpire stopped play when the ball was in the air which meant that it had to be bounced at the spot that it would've landed. Evidently, blowing the whistle two seconds later and allowing Ben McEvoy to take an easy mark was not an acceptable option.

Took 13 marks as well. Must be a career high.
