Post: # 1123296Post saintspremiers »

Looks rooted.

Back on but he's way off fitness.

Big worry

Sounds as though he should not be on the ground right now.

Not sure as to why RL is leaving him on :?

He should take himself off for his own welfare.

Absolutely ridiculous.

He is being downright selfish and the coaching staff are being too short sited.

He's having a can't of a year. Book him in for an operation now. He's a liability.

Needs to be booked ion for surgery tomorrow.

Our season is totally farked anyway.

We need to start the preseason (even if we make finals) now.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

This coming from a bloke who looks like a fat Muslim cab driver whose last attempt at sport was the Year 8 egg & spoon race?
Try playing sport before you criticise, you knobhead !:-P

Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, an unselfish woman- what do they all have in common? Answer- we would all like to believe they are true, but they are all fictional.

Except that he doesn't continue to get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to continually miss easy goals.
He's got every right to be critical, as have all of us.

Hit. Nail. Head.

But they won't do it and he'll play on.

Yep, everyone who criticizes has to prove they can do better first. I wholeheartedly agree. Mankind would no doubt be well ahead of where we are right now if no one criticized anything unless they proved they could do better.

I think you have me covered in the knobhead stakes considering that you didn't know what day the game was played

He could barely make the distance from 30... his knee is a big part of his kicking problems.

Thankyou Dan Warna, Roo is a proud man, he gives us everything, he would kill himself for the club. I really wish people would stop bagging him and appreciate what he does.

I suggested on another thread that maybe they should start Roo as the sub next week. The more I think about it, the more I like it. He seems to do alright for half a game, could be dynamic as the sub.

The medicos will have a good look at it this week. These days, they are pretty good at assessing knee damage. There is no way that we should be risking him if there is any doubt about doing more damage.

He would certainly make a great sub, BorderBarry! However that would only show that he is injutred. I think that he either plays, or he doesn't.

Courageous, yes, selfish - definitely today....

I'm sorry but as big as his heart is, he only had one leg. Lynchy was fully fit, Roo couldn't jump, kick or run - could have almost cost us the game this week as he mucked up a couple of things in the last which could/should have been goals. So while I admire the fact he bleeds for the club, I was furious that he wasn't subbed when he clearly wasn't able to contribute the way an able bodied player could.

Look, I didn't see the game today, but unless Tom Lynch did something extraordinary that was not called on the radio, I'd say that a one-legged Roo is better value than a two legged Lynch.
