RIP Duggie. I am glad the Saints were able to come away with the win for Duggie and Yabby.

A belated but very sincere thank you to all who posted wonderful messages following the passing of my father, (Duggie on this forum) one month ago today. Our family was blown away by the support to us.
Dad would have been amused and very embarrassed to know that he had been mentioned in the same sentence as Yabby and Barks, but as far as we are concerned, he was right up there with both of them! We have certainly never known a more faithful and passionate Sainter.
Thanks everyone, and special thanks to Maxstar for the original post which started it all off.

Hi there
Hi,
Sorry to hear about your sad news. If I remember correctly, Duggie posted on the original fan forum (going back about 9 years I think?) and he truly was a great Saints' man. I have the feeling he was from Labrador? Is that correct?
My thoughts are with you and your family.
Regards.
Spelly

nice to see your still reading spelly and very nice wordsSpelly wrote:When I used to post many moons ago, he was always very nice to me. He had a great sense of humour and was always very sincere. I don't believe you have to physically meet someone to know what kind of person they are ... I didn't meet him, but I know he was a very special person.
