OK,The Sainter wrote:Yes we had won 6 in a row which was a top effort but please tell me which of those 6 teams will make the finals? West Coast certainly but who were the other 5 we beat. My concern is for the next 2 to 3 years when our best players will be getting close to 30.
Also Baker, Blake, Kosi and Gram to name four may go at the end of the year, if so who of our younger players are ready to step in to replace them? Yes, have a go at me by all means, that's what a forum is for and I know some of our first year players have had injuries but the fact is our coach does not favor youth very often.
By the way Ross why was Davis on his own all night???? Every one there was saying, who in hell is on him? 36 possessions, 28 on his own and often 10 to 20 metres away from anyone. He cut us to pieces in a game where we only go beaten by 3 goals and had one more scoring shot than them, yes in my humble opinion very average coaching.
Instead of bellyaching about decisions, why not think about why they may have occured?
You and all the rest you speak for weren't at the meetings/discussions that took place prior to the team selection.
You and all the rest you speak for weren't in the coaches box so don't know what moves were discussed/made/dismissed.
You and all teh rest you speak for weren't on the ground at the qtr time and 3/4 time breaks, nor were you in the rooms at half time to hear (and understand) what was being discussed and what instructions were given.
Personally I'm puzzled why it appreared that Davis was left unaccountable.
But I reckon those in charge of running the team have a much better idea than I (probably you and all you speak for as well) about who should play where on the night.
I don't recall exactly, but were you and all you speak for complaining after the 2009 adn 2010 Preliminary Finals when we won our way into the GF?
Or do you adn all you spea for only complain about team selection/match-ups after we lose?
Does that qualify as an ok 'have a go at you'?
