I'm really happy with our first half effort. If we keep trying like that and end up losing, I'll have no regrets.
CJ's best half of footy ever. Riewoldt is supreme. Chips, Raph, Gram and Big Mac have all caught my eye.

pies & hawks are the best at disposal to advantage under pressureDevilhead wrote:The majority of Collingfilth's goals have come from appalling turnovers when we have been in control of the ballDan Warna wrote:not really, we gave 4 goals from skill errors.
we are NOT THAT BAD.
playing with a lot of heart, can't say a single saint isn't giving their all, but some of the disposal is woeful
all top teams apply pressure, its what you do with the ball in the hot seat that makes the difference

concur, we are playing with a lot of heart, but our skill level is poor from some.
Heartwise peake is playing with a tremendous amount of heart and going in for hardballs, but his disposal has been average.
Polo, dawson and gilbert have been uniformly average in their disposal. This in now means their courage isn't right up there, gilbert and peake especially have been hard as nails.
Goddard can't get into it like he wants to, kosi looks lost, but competitng well n the ruck, and milne, shnaz contributing but making mistakes, gkicked a beaty of a goal.. Roo is running everywhere, but isn't damaging.
Gram, Steven, fisher, big ben, monty and dal carrying us at the moment.
Gram is in smoking form IMO.

wrong, the maggots have given us most of the 50/50s, 2 50/50's have gone against us, maybe 4 have gone our way.BakesFan wrote:Superb first half effort considering the Maggots are giving us nothing!
We are being killed by our turn overs, 4 goals directly to our mistakes.

that may be numbers but he's doing well in neutralising brown and jolly when he's resting mcevoy, big mac has been epic. The pies aren't getting clear ball out of the centre as much.sunsaint wrote:he's only had 1 hitout to halftimeDan Warna wrote: kosi looks lost, but competitng well n the ruck,

Seems to be going head to head with Steven in the middle. I don't think he's being tagged. Pendles and Krak the only two Pies that look like they're being tagged. Need to put the hard tag on Davis IMO.Middo wrote:Gilberts disposal still disgraceful and who is picking up Swan...? Why tag hard at ball ups and then let him get the little cheapies in the backline..? Go with him everywhere....

agree with Big Ben he is competing very well against one of the games benchmarksDan Warna wrote:that may be numbers but he's doing well in neutralising brown and jolly when he's resting mcevoy, big mac has been epic.
