Hey guys... Just a little personal story here...

I remember sitting down watching the footy a few weeks back - it wasn't our game, but an ad came on for the game between us and the crows. It was only a pretty short promo, but geez - it stirred up something in me... What if... What if we string a few more together?

What if we cement a spot in the top 8?

What if our guns who have been quiet start to fire up?

What if the ball bounces our way?

What if lady luck is on our side.

What if we go deep into September?

What if we make it to the Grand Final.

What if we win it.

i hope but I do not expect or believe.

We are not as disciplined as 2009 or 2010.

Collingwood and Geelong are more assured of making the grand final than geelong and st kilda in 2009. 2010 was a more even year.

We need to lift 10% to get there.

did I say our belief- although I feel My good vibes ( and the odd word) being felt by the team

but the teams Belief is vital to get anywhere...

Spot on.

Clear when Lenny went down their performance fell more than just physical due to the damage to belief and confidence...

Even just by listening to the coaches subtly stating how concerned the players were when they found out how bad it was during the game....

Lighten up Tash, no one's suggesting a fiery crash with a huge loss of life.

Maybe the plane will just runÂ off the end of the runway and they'll all break their arms from adopting the brace position?

Maybe they'll all parachute out and simply break their legs on impact?

Maybe they'll ditch in the sea and their life rafts won't be located til mid December?Â

This is exactly what got Geelong over the line against us in 2009

I'm not writing the boys off until the final siren. We're in it! Who knows what we could produce between now and the finals.

A gutsy win on Friday night would have the comp shaking in their boots.
