I haven't seen the game yet and followed it only on here.

What was the verdict? Is he any closer to finding form?

Good around the ground, hopeless in front of goal. Missed a couple when we really needed one.

Not really. But I wouldn't go so far as to suggest he's terrible...just not starring. There was some poor delivery to him early, and he was double or triple teamed in some instances. As pointed out elsewhere, he just burned them off with fitness in the end, set up goals for others.

Id be angry too if I was nudged under half of the deliveries with the other half at his feet.

Some body 1on1 marks inside 50 may be an option to consider.

Look at this way. On his game alone, we know we can improve another notch.

Very angry boy.

Of the 17 games he's scored in this year, his first scores have been 8 goals, 9 behinds. Needs the soft early one, and when he doesn't get it, it wears him down all night.

His pressure has been immense.

It will come, he is working very hard.

He was pushed and held onto alot, doesn't get the frees he used to.

Ten marks 17 poss overall and realistically should have had 16 marks if we hit him when he had McPharlin beat. Amazes me how defenders are allowed to nudge him under the ball.

The concern isn't his marking or work around the ground, it's in front of goal.

Missed a couple when the game was in the balance.

Exactly. I spotted Raph running up the gound with a moving option on the flank to his left, or Roo in the centre with 2 purples on him...Raph pops it up, forcing Roo to attempt a stationary contested mark on 2 opponents. Gram produced a similar one, and I'm sure there were others I didn't spot (other than a few blinders in the first).

I don't think he needed a break either BM.

He's trying too hard I reckon. Needs to relax a bit.

Agree
If you took any of the best forwards this year and delivered the ball to them in the manner that roo gets it , they would look average too

McPhee is a flog. Hope he gets 9 weeks. He will probably get off on a technicality.

Ask him to lead up and drag 3 defenders with him and let the little champ Milne do his magic.

Ask the skipper to get out of Milne's forward line.

The tip rat owns our forward line.

Beat Lloyds record next week. Lloyd said we would win only one more game for the year.
