I think the opposition puts about as much time into Milne as they do Roo these days. If this is the case, I find myself getting cross at other players around him that should have the freedom to lift, and don't.
He is 4th this year for inside 50 tackles, that is pretty good IMO.

It's not that he doesn't tackle - it's that he's not good at it!
Lyon got more out of Milne, but it may have been the scare that GT gave him that gave him motivation to improve under Lyon.
GT might have got more out of other players than Lyon has.
As much as the late Yabby Jeans said that footballers are all sausages, different approaches motivate different footballers. We have all seen players who have performed far better at their second club than their first. And performed better under one coach than another.
