Personally I think the president tried to sweep the entitlement under the carpet, the board were furious that no records had been kept and probably his neck was on the line.
On the other hand, insisting on an overseas trip that was worth as much as the annual recruiting budget, while Collingwood were spending triple on recruiting, was the coach's call.
