Votes Round 18 Saints v Crows
5. Stephen Milne (said before that he is the best small forward ever to play the game).
4. Ben McEvoy (continues to work harder each week and the improvement is there for all to see).
3. David Armitage (lost count of the hard ball gets against two or more opponents).
2. Brendon Goddard (controlled the backline, and most other things).
1. Clinton Jones (just a 100% team focus).
Of course, many others, in fact, I can only think of one player who had a poor game.

got absolutely creamed in his primary role. our only beaten player.Quixote wrote:Apart from a few marks around the ground, Ben actually got quite well beaten in the ruck tonight. Almost comprehensively even. In the votes?
Nah.
Had plenty of better games - didn't have a shocker by any means, but plenty better.

And BTW - just because my post about Ben came in directly beneath your votes, it doesn't mean it was directed at you!

I'll have a crack...
5. Milne (8.2, just a brilliant small forward, one of the best ever)
4. Goddard (his kicking skills blow my fk'n mind!!!!! did anybody else just go "wow - great kick" about 5 times tonight? )
3. Dal Santo (so consistent, a brownlow smokey?)
2. Schneider (so smart & a great user of the pill)
1. C.Jones (so underrated, just love the effort he gives each week).
Apologies to Polo & Armitage (both played v. well, both showed true toughness tonight).

St Kilda is a great club - don't ever forget it. It's the peope (supporters, players, coaches & staff) that make it great.
