I was there. Quarter time I thought the season was back on track. Kosi misses that shot at the start of the 2nd, bang, game over. Was a really weak effort considering they lost their ruckman and 2nd KPD early in the piece. We should have been running rings around them in the 2nd half.

I'll still go when I can, I'm not fair weather. I don't know why Saints fans don't turn up to away games though, particularly at the G. Have they been conditioned to the "safety" of Etihad that they can't hack a bit of a threat of rain or breeze?

Haven't replied until now.

Have to admit I was shocked by the abuse I copped just for asking where all the supporters were.

No one is having a go at you personally for taking little Marmaduke to his basketball game or to an exhibition...that's great.
Of course people have family commitments.
Of course there is a life outside football.

Let's just look at this logically. Similar games last year would have had at least 5 or 10 thousand more Saints supporters there. Are we to assume that ALL of those missing have suddenly become parents and/or developed other commitments that they didn't have last year?


In honour of those who went before, in the dark and desperate years.
