Sean Wight passes away
Yes wrong forum but I couldnt give a stuff. Deserves to be seen by all on here. Very sad. He was only 47 years old and never smoked or drunk and died of lung cancer this morning.

Very sad.
I was reading where his mum had come out from Ireland because he was so ill and was sleeping on a matress in his hospital ward, so I knew it was near.
Way too young and just plain stiff to get lung cancer when he'd never smoked and looked after himself pretty well.

I had never heard of him before he got sick but ever since then I've heard countless stories that serve as a testament to his character, R.I.P, 47 is way too young.

Absolutely hated the guy when he continually kicked the ball out of bounds to frustrate the Saints in a game at Moorabbin.
But hell, all is forgiven now. Good on you mate. life's too short!
An Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet your feet;
May the wind be always gentle at your back
and the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the welcome rains fall softly upon your fields
And, until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Here's some more...

That statement sums up perfectly why we should abolish that other ridiculous forum which virtually nobody reads or posts on.plugger66 wrote:Yes wrong forum but I couldnt give a stuff. Deserves to be seen by all on here.
And I notice the mods haven't moved this thread yet.
As per Sean Wight: yes, he was a good, brave player who helped to lift the Dees from being an even crappier side than we were to being a premiership contender. Great stuff and RIP
