Rest easy.
Not saying he won't be good. Just saying, if he gets an injury/reported we are up the creek. Eg - GFs last year. Loosing Gardiner was diabolical just like Spider in 98.
Losing MG last year got us another chance at playing in a second GF.

He was terrible in the first half and him going off forced us to put Kosi and Blake into the ruck which seemed to nullify Jolly and it certainly seemed to me that it also helped us get back in the game.

Still don't know how you expected him to be good in the second qtr, when the injury occured in the first.

Id love to see proof of that and if it did why was he still on the ground until half time. Pretty hard to play with a hamstring. Also unless it happened in the first 2 seconds how the hell did he let Jolly get so much space in the first 20 seconds of the game?

THE first official casualty of Saturday's St Kilda-Collingwood grand final rematch is Saints ruckman Michael Gardiner.

While others, particularly at Collingwood, may follow, Gardiner's dream of playing in a premiership was sunk in the first quarter when he injured a hamstring that got worse in the second term.

He sat out the rest of the match on the bench and although he had scans late yesterday, he has almost no chance of being available on Saturday.

Do you really believe anything in The Australian? Must be the only one in Australia who does, apart from Tony and Joe.
