Don't bet on that report clearing too much up....roskilde wrote:i guess the tuesday injury report with misson will clear it up (hopefully)
hope the big monster is ok.
Whenever someone goes down, Dave says: "yeah, he pulled up really well and will be assessed during the week".

Just dont trust anything the club releases about injuries.. We will only know the truth when Gardi either runs out at Sandy or doesnt in next few weeks...SaintPav wrote:Don't bet on that report clearing too much up....roskilde wrote:i guess the tuesday injury report with misson will clear it up (hopefully)

very true, he seems to describe just about every injury as "yeah 2 to 3 weeks" which i have decided now to mean anything from indefintitely out to a surprise entry in this weeks team!
This was my father's belief

Has he been flagged for the same comeback match as Hamill?

The advantage would be that we could give more games to youngsters. If McEvoy got injured I would rather see Stanley or Walsh or another youngster come in and ruck rather than Gardi. Gardi won't be at the club next year so there is no point playing him again. If we were in the top 4 then that would be a different story. Unfortunately, we are in the bottom 4 (nearly).dragit wrote:What advantage would this have over retiring at the end of the season? Let me guess you've heard that he is very tall and also won the grand final sprint?
Gardiner doesn't need to retire in order to get games into players who aren't performing at VFL level, we're doing that already.
Stanley won't improve playing for Sandi. He is the type of character that needs to be thrown into the deep end (seniors) so the penny can drop.dragit wrote:You haven't seen Stanley rucking have you?St Nick wrote:The advantage would be that we could give more games to youngsters. His 2 senior games this year in the 'deep end' he was drowning…
Fair call, but if we want the Saints to re-build they have to play the youngsters. He may have struggled for 2 games but who knows what would have happened if he had the entire season to gain experience and confidence.dragit wrote:Please tell us more about his character, I don't know him personally at all?St Nick wrote:Stanley won't improve playing for Sandi. Nick Riewoldt could rejuvenate his playing career with a run on the wing, says Richmond great Nick Richardson.
