Kosi 2 weeks
Kosi 2 weeks for sling what a joke, stokes 1 for the punch in the nakkers
BANGER 350 & STILL GOING STRONG
Honestly Saints should challenge.
As Bernard pointed out on another thread, Kosi actually ensures his body takes the majority of the impact.
Buddy is being criticised for opting to bump and not tackle, now guys are being rubbed out for opting to tackle?
If you're quite tall, what exactly are you allowed to do?

Joke, Im over it.
Perfect tackle thrown onto his side (shoulder).
So you get more weeks for doing the team thing but only one for punching players either in their groin or in their head.
The AFL can go screw themselves. I can't be stuffed caring anymore.

Agreed.... next time selwood gets tackled high the tackler gets weeks?LENNY LEADS THE WAY wrote:Was a perfect tackle.
What's next you tackle a player he twists his knee does his acl and you get weeks FFS
What about a push against a forward which causes a injury?
Watched it again, what could kosi have done better?
I'm not teaching my nephew to play footy because I have no idea what a good tackle is? Would not be fair on him. These days you tackle and almost cross your fingers.
Joke, serious joke.

Dont know but if he doesnt that would be the only reason to challenge. And to those who say taking this type of tackle out makes footy weak I suggest you talk to the guys that are slammed into the ground. Jack was very lucky he was badly hurt in his tackle.SainterK wrote:Will he get more if he tries?plugger66 wrote:No point in challenging. Will not get off. Just take the 2 weeks which he will do.

It wasn't the perfect tackle.
The player got high contact after he landed. It's illegal.
Get a clue!
Sorry wasnt badly hurt.saintbrat wrote:plugger66 wrote:Dont know but if he doesnt that would be the only reason to challenge. Kosi :
In summary, due to a previous poor record, his two-game sanction must remain at two games, even with an early plea.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Geelong Cats, the incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match sanction. He has an existing poor record of five matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 50 per cent to 337.50 points and a three-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 253.13 points and a two-match sanction.
Josh Hunt, Geelong Cats, has been charged with a Level Two striking offence against Adam Schneider, St Kilda, during the second quarter of the Round 13 match between the Geelong Cats and St Kilda, played at the MCG on Saturday June 18, 2011.
In summary, his previous poor record means that his one-game sanction must remain at one game, even with an early plea.
.Joel Corey, Geelong Cats, has been charged with a Level One engaging in rough conduct offence against Jack Steven, St Kilda, during the fourth quarter of the Round 13 match between the Geelong Cats and St Kilda, played at the MCG on Saturday June 18, 2011.
In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record with an early plea
Media should note that all relevant video angles of each incident above, both charges and incidents that were cleared, are available to view on afl.com.au.Contact between St Kilda’s Justin Koschitzke and the Geelong Cats’ Cameron Ling from the second quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Ling has the ball and is tackled by Koschitzke and taken to ground. As Ling is going to ground, he makes contact with the legs of St Kilda player Brendon Goddard. It was the view of the panel that the force used in the tackle was not excessive in the circumstances and Ling was not treated for any injury. No further action was taken.
