Shame Shame Shame
To the supporters who walked out on mass at the 15 minute mark of the last quarter you are a disgrace. Was about 50% of our bay who left, bay 15/16.
I am also sick of going to the footy every week and hearing people who are wearing our colors and constantly complain and bag St Kilda.
Our effort is there just our ball use and decision making at times hurts us. Geelong far superior tonight.
Support and Support, sure have an opinion but surely there is something about the saints your like or some play that you might even say the words" GO SAINTERS" instead of just complaining.
So sick of people asking our players to man up when blind freddy can tell we set up zones at times even at kickouts from our behinds. Dumb ignorant supporters. Why are they the loudest also. I have to sit next to one every week and have done so for the passed 4 years.

FFS... they were only copying the coach who also walked out well before the game finished.lennyeverywhere wrote:To the supporters who walked out on mass at the 15 minute mark of the last quarter you are a disgrace.
Is the coach a disgrace too??
Sorry... bit of a leading question there...

Now the simple thing to do is what I did tonight and drink heaps and then you stay to the end! haha...Also what is meant by the comment Ross left half way through the last quater? As Pauline "No Idea" Hanson says? Please Explain?
When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

I am talking about people week in week out who just constantly complain and spoil the experience for everyone around them.asaint wrote:Settle down. The only way to stop the oposition winding the clock down is to man up. Perhaps that is why people were screaming it out in the last quarter? Some 'supporters' near us - in a member's area - spent all their time bagging our players. I wonder - do they actually enjoy going to the footy?lennyeverywhere wrote:To the supporters who walked out on mass at the 15 minute mark of the last quarter you are a disgrace. Love Milne's work. I wold like us to kick it long to allow the big fellas to make a contest and the Milne to do his magic. Milne is our best forward most weeks.
I agree something must make you happy enough to keep attending the footy each week but I do wonder.

Yes, obviously. Takes $25 to go to the footy and shoot your mouth off and spoil the night for everyone around you.FortiusQuoFidelius wrote:What's the difference?? Takes perhaps 10 years plus of commitment and skill to play AFL football, hence the difference in salaries.

You must have been sitting in the same bay as us. Seriously, you didn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to see that we were not executing properly. Screaming and yelling at your own players doesn't help the situation. It only raises the blood pressure of other supporters around you. Funny, I notice that they don't seem to yell out praise when a player kicks a goal or takes a great mark?

as disgracefull as those who didn't turn up in the first place
the club works to get specific seating as requested and supporters can't even be bothered turing up
Thank goodness the team does bother to turn up..
in another thread someone said players effort make it a good reason not too turn up.. well why should they when they can see how fickle the supporters can be..
Thank goodness the players do turn up and put their bodies throughthe effort.. and yes they are paid well to do so...

Im sorry but have you sat in the reserved seating area that the club assigned us at the MCG? I dont blame anyone sitting in my area for not turning up... It was best described on TS:saintbrat wrote:as disgracefull as those who didn't turn up in the first place

One of the reasons we go for reserved seating is to get away from idiots like these. Next time the club decides we want home games at the MCG you'd better do somethign about this because without a doubt people will not turn up as it is not a pleasent evening having to put up with the crap these people dish out...The Stkilda Members Allocated Home Game seats at the MCG is quite possibly the worse seats in the history of the world. Such a joy that we are placed just infront of a Standing Room Only area that is the home of every drunken loud mouth arsehole opposition supporter. This seems to be a spot for all the racist, sexist, necrophiliacs that have been kicked out of their own cheersquads so they now stand behind us at the StKilda end. A big thank you to whatever Knob jockey decided these would be good seats for family's to sit in.
Trust me, anybody who went to either the Rich or Cats game will agree that these people are a massive pain in the arse.

People are different at the football. It is frustrating to watch sometimes and some people are more verbal with their frustration than others. Some are because they have had a few too many. But really it is the football and it has been like this for years. Selective deafness is the way to go
