Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!
To state the obvious - a combination of being back to back runners up, off field scandals, followed by poor onfield performances. The thing is, it seems to be snowballing more and more. The club has been put under the miscroscope and is getting nothing but negative press. It is serioulsly getting out of hand.
For me, the latest scandal involving McGuire and alleged racism almost feels like a personal attack.
Perhaps I'm being too precious? It just really hurts to think that the St.Kilda FC has become some sort of "Public Enemy Number 1" in the football world.
All of this could be potentially very damaging to the club's future.
Don't think so....... The filth have been public enemy number one for 100 years.... done them no harm.
It has galvanised their supporter base.
Ours is generally too busy playing nine holes at Elsternwick.

I also don't remember wellingham or anyother player EVER Being offered to the saints.. that was the problem...

Eddie said he and the Collingwood Football Club, wasn't on trial yesterday, but in a way it was. It's terrific for footy for Eddie to make a stand, but at the same time hollow. His coach called Stephen Milne a ''f.... rapist", and on Saturday night, Magpies fans chanted Milney was a rapist, and called Jimmy Gwilt a ''golliwog''. Use your power, Ed. Wade through your cheer squad with the same venom as you showed on Saturday night. Now that would be a legacy.

The more I see it, the more I'm believing it.
Eddie and his media monkeys have really got the knives out for us. First we get labelled Rapists, now we're tainted with the Racist brush.
It's the bloody pot calling the kettle black! It's like they've dodged a bullet with slurs to Winmar all those years ago, and we're the ones wearing all the crap. They come out, those stinking prison-escapee-toothless-mulletheads....smelling like roses!
the only way this is possible is when you get some mug like Eddie driving vendettas behind the Herald Sun and Channel 9. I don't think any other station ran with this story as much as with of those two media outlets.
Pure and simple. A Punter got under Eddies skin while the Saints were giving it to his precious filth, and to make him look justified in his over-reacting tantrum...they went with good old clean Eddie getting up a racist St Kilda supporter, cos they're all rapists as well you know! Makes me sick!

St Kilda bashers? Well my dear owld mammy had a great saying that she often brought out to silence her critics, and I've used it myself since to ferals like the filth followers, it goes: "I take insults as compliments coming from the likes of you!"
I had to walk around the concourse after the game on saturday and they were gloating and crowing but I was determined that this little Jiggster was not going to drop his chin in the face of their abuse! Simply held my head up and ignored 'em TOTALLY! (pissed most of 'em off no end! )
As a fan, it bothers me to be honest. The worst part is that 90% of the reasoning behind the hatred is total garbage and or completely false, and the other 10% of it (the 1 flag thing) I can't do anything about!
We've had a bit of success, we're led by a champion skipper and coach, and we've dominated big teams in recent history (Carlton/Richmond etc.).....
....then came the off season. Now we're not hated anymore, we're right back to being the laughing stock.
We have 2 of our very elite with their knobs out, a bunch of quality kids on the gear on a training trip, and we've been knocked over by every half decent team we've come up against this term.[/u]

I don't even understand how people can be emotive enough to despise another club?
I like the fact we are not a fan forum obsessed with the opposition, it would be so incredibly if SS was dominated with threads about what other club supporters think.
Someone provided a link on here to another supporter forum a couple of months ago, I couldn't believe it when I saw Saintsational makes front page news there every day.
Just channel your footy interest towards supporting your club.

Patrick's Smith's article in todays Australian "On alert for the scouge of racism" is a good one.....he's show's Eddie up for what he has done ''stepped over the line" and trivialised what he (Eddie) terms 'racism'. Partick in his inimitible style as a supreme wordsmith put's eddie back in his place............ "To win the fight against racial discrimination in this country he (sic - Eddie) must clearly identify the enemy before heading off to battle. Otherwise you can be accused of firing blanks and that is of no help to anyone".

He was not wearing his suit (president) but his dufflecoat and beanie".... and IMHO was like any emotive supporter who often gets it terribly wrong after they have been sucked in by an equally opposing loud mouthed boorish supporter and ends up looking the DILL.
