Gold Coast
Will be heading up to the Gold Coast when the boys are playing later in the year. Just printed off my tickets for the match and on them it says there is free transport. ANyone know where I can find more information on this?
Also is anybody else heading up for the game? Did a trip up last year for the Lions game and had a great weekend.
Last but almost most important could any Gold Coast Saintsational members point me towards some nice golf courses????

Must you keep that image in your signature? Seriously? How much pain must we inflict on ourselves.Saint Pup wrote:Will be heading up to the Gold Coast when the boys are playing later in the year. I paid $50 each but that's front row on the wing, i think $25 General admission. You will need to look at flight soon if you want to get cheap seats.bangerisking wrote:Im heading up but yet to book tickets how much are they?
The SE Queensland Saints said they will post function details for those people interested.
Looking forward to getting away for a few days, hope the weathers warm!!!

I hope Tiger is still in operation thenSaint Pup wrote:Flying to the Gold Coast on the Thursday before the game and leaving Tuesday after it. Got flights with Tiger for $65 return per person, so hopefully everythings runs smooth with tiger....
$65 return - does that include all fees/charges? I assume that is carry on luggage also. Well done, great deal and even if they stuff you around you'll still get there in time for the game and have a bit of time on the 'Coast.

Being a Suns member, naturally I'll be there. Closer to the event, we should all meet up someone in the stadium pre-game. i have kids too, and they have Auskick activities before the game at the northern endDWOODROW wrote:Going down with the family so looking forward to it.
Is there a place some saints supporters will catch up and say hi??
I have two kids so can't really hang out at the pubs too much but would like to say high.
That includes you saintBrat
For Country interstate or Queensland based Social members
I have just rung the club and you are entitled to a free ticket to this game also. The website says that if you are either a social member or country interstate member living in QLD then you are entitled to both games in the state as we are the away team.
These tickets go on sale on the 27th June!!
This isnt available for 11 game members that are based in QLD, you have to also be a social member or interstate member

Still awaiting advice from St Kilda re function. Normally we meet at the Emerald Lakes Gold Club pre game for a drink, it is directly opposite the stadium and children friendly, can have a meal there if you like. Post match is generally the Liars Bar, Broadbeach Tavern. Best way to get there is with a bus from Pacific Fair (free with your ticket).

As a local can I ask you some questions?....
We are driving up, so does your comments mean there is limited parking near the ground?
Where is Pacific Fair?
How far from the ground is it?
Is there ample parking there?
I was just planning to buy general admission as I assumed it would be a small crowd?
What parts of the ground will that get you in to?
Or is it worth upgrading to sit ... where?
Anything else I should know?
