St.Kilda Bashing
When will it ever end?
Now Citizen Eddie is trying to demonise St.Kilda supporters. What next?

To state the obvious - a combination of being back to back runners up, off field scandals, followed by poor onfield performances. The thing is, it seems to be snowballing more and more. The club has been put under the miscroscope and is getting nothing but negative press. It is serioulsly getting out of hand.plugger66 wrote:Has it come to this?
For me, the latest scandal involving McGuire and alleged racism almost feels like a personal attack.
Perhaps I'm being too precious? It just really hurts to think that the St.Kilda FC has become some sort of "Public Enemy Number 1" in the football world.
All of this could be potentially very damaging to the club's future.

Wine?
How'd they get the cask in the ground?
Or was it something that sounded a bit like wine?

Although the false beer gut or pregnancy bump would have to be strapped over the real beer gut or pregnancy bump
Thought i'd post this here, not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but I was reading an article on all the cats young players on the herald sun website
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/c ... 6069775148
Scott compares Vardy to Riewoldt, which is fine, I haven't seen him play so i cant say whether that's accurate or not, but then near the end of the article...
"St Kilda sniffed at Collingwood's offer of pick 30 and Sharrod Wellingham for Luke Ball in the same draft. Don't tell St Kilda fans, but Vardy might be handy alongside Riewoldt right now"
What does that have to do with anything? I don't usually buy conspiracy theories, but what other reason is that in there aside from getting another criticism of the club in? Vardy was taken at 42, nothing to do with collingwoods pick at all. Anyone got any legitimate reasons as to why the ball trade was brought up?

Filth supporters drinking from wine glasses does sound odd. Unless of course Eddie put a stop to them sneaking in the "goon bag" because of its racist connotationsGrumpyOne wrote:Junction Oval wrote:I heard a lady on the radio today, saying that the language from the filth supporters was "absolute filth", she was verbally abused and had a glass of wine showered over her - no excuse for this either.

Definitely too precious on this one
You gottaUgh
If Eddie everywhere ever went out Nd sat with his rank Nd file filth he would be piping a different tune
And don't forget it was their lot of racists at Victoria park that sparked the winmar episode and opened the entire issue for AFL scrutiny and on field a tionp

Considering we were never offered Wellingham i find it very hard to believe. And also considering we took Winmar 2 picks later you would have to assume we would have taken him at pick 30python wrote:Thought i'd post this here, not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but I was reading an article on all the cats young players on the herald sun website

I brought that up in another thread. I attended that match. Filth fans were so feral that day I actually feared for my own safety after the macth.starsign wrote:And don't forget it was their lot of racists at Victoria park that sparked the winmar episode and opened the entire issue for AFL scrutiny and on field a tionp
Both myself and a mate decided stayed back in the Saints CS area a good hour after the game and then got the train home from Vic Park Station. By the time we got the station, there were drunken Filth fans brawling with themselves on the platform and even on the train tracks

Mark Robinson said it well:
Eddie said he and the Collingwood Football Club, wasn't on trial yesterday, but in a way it was. It's terrific for footy for Eddie to make a stand, but at the same time hollow. His coach called Stephen Milne a ''f.... rapist", and on Saturday night, Magpies fans chanted Milney was a rapist, and called Jimmy Gwilt a ''golliwog''. Use your power, Ed. Wade through your cheer squad with the same venom as you showed on Saturday night. Now that would be a legacy.

yeah, a friend of mine's grandmother, who was a geelong supporter, once spoke of an unpleasant experience in having beer tipped over her at that cesspool by filth supporters back in 50's. she also described lou richards as being the dirtiest player she ever saw to play the gamestinger wrote:Sainternist wrote:I brought that up in another thread.
