12:45 to go in 2nd Q.
Daisy and Clint grapple for ball.
Daisy all over Clints back.
balls spills forward away from their area.
Daisy, still on CJ's back slips in a nice Left hook flush to the jaw of Jones.
Jones off ground within 30 sec getting treatment.
After half time starts on bench, much to bemusement of commentators.
I think it really rocked CJ.
Deliberate...high...forceful...bla bla.
Was really warming to Daisy as a player............................but alas he is scum like the rest of them pricks
1-3 weeks me thinks.
Whether he is reported or not.............well who would know.
Funny last night how when a Pie came up sore or holding their head the coverage back tracked to the incident....i.e. Didak slap to face from Ledger during a tackle (accidental)....then the one where Armo ?? pushed the pies into each other....ha ha Tim Lane "was that negligent" ....unreal Timmy !!
So the question is will he be cited...................me thinks doubtful.

It's all just a grand, evil conspiracy: Daisy, The umps, Channel 10, Eddie, the AFL, the Masons, the Pope, the Illuminati, human-alien hybrids in top government postions....
Despite all that, I reckon Thomas's punch will be looked at. As far as I could see, it was pretty forceful and drew blood. However, both he and Jones were hard at it and I reckon Thomas won't get much of a penalty
BTW I wonder if the reason Ross kept Jones off the field at the start of the second half was to try to cool it a bit and prevent Jones from doing something he'd regret.

Your comment doesn't make much sense, but you have succeded in insulting me by associating me in any way with that prize goose A Maher.Little Dozer wrote:Old Andy Maher Babble up to his old tricks...

From Robbo (The Tackle):
"Gun, but sucked in. Very poor choice by Thomas to round-house his tagger, Clint Jones, from behind, to the head, with a closed left fist. Intentional. High. Behind the play. Medium to high impact. Doesn't look good. It's been noted he might've retaliated, and if so that's between him and Jones, but a king-hit? Wonder if the whole story will emerge, or Thomas and the Magpies, will keep mum."

again from robbo..
"
9. Collisions
David Armitage's push which caused Ben Reid and Steele Sidebottom to clash heads made me uncomfortable. Armitage might say he didn't mean it, but such an act in those circumstances is questionable. Really, it can only lead to a collision and injury. Before all you Sainters smack down with indignation, imagine if, say, Didak, did that to Riewoldt who crashed into Dal Santo.'
...he obviously missed the start of the game when a filth player shoved armo into joey..."
...ffs...wake up robbo.....
you reckon you are a journo....get the whole f****** story....

Sure the match review panel will find a way to get this below 100 points and therefore he can still win the brownlow.
In sufficient force perhaps , or accidental and low impact ( hard for even the AFL to get around high)
Remember Judd was 9 brownlow votes ahead when his elbow split Pav open with INSUFICIENT FORCE to bea strike!

I'm tipping he'll get done for 2 & offered 1.
Funny that even though they've cleaned up the game the severity of sentences have fallen away. In the 80's that would have been just considered a dirty snipe & would have given the guilty party a holiday of a month.
Anderson's convoluted system hurts those who transgress in minor incidents & isn't hard enough of the cheap & dirty rubbish (Campbell Brown's king hit being an obvious example).

Has to be 3 with 2 for an early plea? unless he has points.
And back to the umps. We were beaten fair and square and pies were often first to the ball and are a better all round side. But they seem to get a lot of frees for in the back when they just dive forward. Do they practice this? Was an epidemic.

Nice of the papers to give daisy his alibi.

Another opportunity awaits!

That is AWESOME! Knowing the media's influence on the tribunal, Daisy probably won't need a lawyer for this one...or at the very least, call up Barry Hall's old legal defense.Moccha wrote:How do they make this s*** upsaintbrat wrote:http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/t ... 1fngn.html
