Went and had a look today.
From the game i have come up with this.
Raph certainly the best Saints player out there.
Winmar Was ok but didnt get a lot of it
Stanley CHB Guy on him didnt do a lot but it was that windy all forwards struggled
Walsh Was very good on Fev and got plenty of the ball
Mini Was ok
Eddy Got plenty of the ball but use was ordinary at best
Smith Was very good
Kosi Was poor and didnt ruck well and had no awareness. Shouldnt play next week but missed the last quarter so suggests he will unless injured
Gram Was ok to good
Gamble was ok further up the ground
Johnson Not a KPP as he cant mark. Tried hard
Andreoli Good skills. Needs to get the ball more

Just got back from the game, Good game by Raph. The best game i have seen from him for a long time. He even tried to rough Fev up in the last quarter.
Tommy Walsh done a good job on Fev, keeping him goalless, i think. But in saying that all Tommy had to do was run because Fev was not chasing anything.
Rhys Stanley played most of the game at Centre Half Back.
Grammy's game was ok in the middle and the wing
On the down side Kosi did not do much and came off in the last quarter and straight up the race with the Doc with some sort of injury or illness but he looked white as a ghost.

Still its only half way but something definately not right.
It's one thing to be fighting fit and struggling for form. But when you're 28/29, struggling for form and continually suffering from various injuries, you really face an uphill battle.Â
But he's a great Saint and I certainly hope that he can get back.

Thanks plugger66. Really helps us all a lot. Bratty of course too.
Question re Smith, how did he use the footy today?
And was Walsh's form more reflective of Fev being unfit?

STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.

Fev is completely unfit which helped Walsh run off him but Walsh was good anyway. Smith used it ok but the conditions were bloody tough with the wind.dcstkfc wrote:Thanks plugger66. Really helps us all a lot. Bratty of course too.

Also SP I like Ferg because his run is great. He is 194cm and runs as well as anyone in the club. Could be a huge surprise in a year or two.
And another thing, Joey cant walk so would be 1000 to 1 to play friday night.
