Back on topic. Last week, I gave a "Big Hint" to those who might have a "spare" and I emphasise "spare" $10 (or so) cash to wager on their team. I hope you all cashed in. This week is the classic dilemma. There is no way that the Saints are $5.30, the real odds are more like $1.60 and $2.50, unless the bookie wants to make an outrageous profit.

To put it another way, let's say we are talking about a two horse race. One horse has only lost one of its last nine starts. The other horse started off OK, being beaten by a short half head, but became lame. Recently, it has recovered some form, albeit at some country courses. However, whenever these horses have met head to head in the last few years, the odds are in favor of the "non favourite".

So, anyone choosing to spend the lazy ten on the footy rather than Ozlotto(where you have no hope), might say, the Saints are a good bet.

Nope...Sometimes you can do your very best and still not be good enough.

I hope Bakes has a great game and that the Tommy's do very well but by the mere fact that we giving two more players a chance to make their debut then we have an eye on 2012 rather than 2011...And there is nothing wrong with that.
