Watch it again if you can..Siposs pushed the ball deliberately wide enough for Schneider to run onto it and kick that lovely goal

Both Dermie and Francis Leach commented that passage of play as to why hes gonna be something a bit special

I said the same thing to my son when we were watching it....making something from nothing and getting it to the advantage of a team mate....really like this kid.

I really like the look of Siposs. I'd love it if he could kick a bag of 4 or 5, imagine what that would do for his confidence! :D

I think his inclusion in the forward line gives us a bit of something that we haven't seen since Hamill was in the side. We've tried different people as that medium-tall like Charlie Gardiner and others that I can't recall off the top of my head, but Siposs has shown the most promise IMO.

He's currently:
Ranked 1st among rising stars in Goal Assists Per Game
Ranked 2nd among rising stars in Goals Contributed Per Game
Ranked 18th overall in the AFL in Goal Assists Per Game
:D

Seriously, have a look at that goal he kicked yesterday. Wasnt that hard, but his action is just pure silk

But he only got 6 possessions and was quiet after half time.

Would like to see him as a sub but hard to get the gig with so
Many new players in the team!

Dermi had a good story about him on the Sunday footy show, as a kid as well, apparantly his parents are mad saints fans and they used to bring sandwiches to dermi and someone else in their commentating box with little arryn in tow

Nickname suggestion for Sippos "The Kid".

No good?

I hate to keep on harping on this point, but he swings his leg in the direction of the midpoint of the goals. And guess what? Players hardly ever kick "off the side of the boot" at this level. But for some unknown reason, they kick the ball in the wrong direction. Next time you are watching a game live, any game, look at the leg swing. You will know the result well before the goal ump signals it.

PS. Don't let the other 16 teams in on this.

Another c**k up by our selectors.

We could have drafted a really good player with #74 like Charlie Gardiner but they went for this dud.

When will they ever learn, our selectors

Selectors don't make choices about drafting players, thats the job of the recruiters.

I read somewhere he kicked close to 100 in his local league, presumably as a full forward?

Anyone know more?

Obviously a natural goalkicker.

He certainly looks like a footballer with football in hands.

But the query of him pre-draft was how hard he works without the footy/to get the footy.

That is still the query for mine.

Certainly has been an impressive start to his career tho.

99 actually, a good player would have got 100.

What are you on about?

Siposs is the future and a bright future it is.

Kosi is the past and a sad past he's had.

I'd forgotten he was such a late draft pick. Great work there! Last year's draft is starting to look pretty good.
