You can build a season on those kind of acts
Courage, hardness, committment, willingness for the contest.
Horrific injuries, that I hope are not in vain.
I don't care about the season anymore as far as win / loss, I just want to see these guys rewarded for sticking it out and persisting, until things started to turn around.
I love how this team never drops it's head, it keeps fighting, that right there is what this St Kilda is built on.

We are not dead yet, great win, trust Ross Lyon a lot, we knew intensity had to build slowly in 11, this may be the beginning.
By the way, anyone know how to watch games live on the Internet from Dubai, it's tough being out of the Melbourne footy scene, cheers.

I wont get carried away ,but there is a chance... A chance we are on the verge of a mid season resurrection.
We are still way off the radar.
Can we surprise the pies? They surely havd an elite midfield. And coming back from perth is a big ask.

What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.

Geelong showed them up a couple of weeks ago. Then last week, Adelaide showed them up for 3quarters.ralphsmith wrote:I wont get carried away ,but there is a chance... A chance we are on the verge of a mid season resurrection.

Collingwood are good, but i don't think they're in top form. Suppose we'll see tomorrow.

Whilst I take on board what u r saying, I wouldnt read too much into their form at this stage of the year. They weren't travelling like world beaters this time last year either. It was after the melbourne queens b'day game that they lifted the tempo.noreason41 wrote:Geelong showed them up a couple of weeks ago. Against Geelong apparently they did a lot of specific experimenting. i.e. less rotations, players in different possies etc.
Oh when the saints go charging in!

Not sure why your not sure because i'm sure it's not not a good measureplugger66 wrote:Not sure about that. Shows the committment to the ball what ever the situation is especially Dempster and Blake.bobmurray wrote:i don't think players getting injured via friendly fire is a barometer for how the team is travelling...i think it's less flattering than that....
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Real team effort. about 16 or 20 blokes just played with super high intensity all day. Makes footy pleasurable to watch when you see so much effort from so many.
