Agree s66.saint66au wrote:Id think a callup isnt far away..youre not going to elevate a player to full match payments and have him run around for Sandy for the rest of the year which he can do on rookie wages
Some who have watched him at Sandy reckon it won't happen but as you say he has been elevated.
AND
Ross Lyon this week:
"Lyon also plans to introduce key defenders, Irishman Tommy Walsh, and Tom Simpkin, to St Kilda's senior team before the end of the season."

Given where we are at this year, why is it so hard to believe?

He said something at the sponsor function that in retrospect was quite prophetic.
He said something to the effect that Ross had told him to hang in there and be ready to take his chance when it comes.
So maybe Ross had already dropped the hint to him?
He seemed in good spirits.
I'm pretty happy because he is my sponsored player.
Go the TOMMINATOR.
But I thought Archer was elevated for Gardi, and now Tommy for Lenny.
So what happens when Gardi is ready to come back?
Or is this a subtle way of saying Gardi isn't coming back.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

One will have to go back down, can be either of them. But i think there is still the rule that every team can elevate a rookie b4 a certain round without putting anyone on the LTI list so they both will possibly be able to stay up there.Enrico_Misso wrote:He said something at the sponsor function that in retrospect was quite prophetic.

You would think that having a man down would have hindered us but I wouldn't have a clue if it hurt us in the end.plugger66 wrote:But the game changed because he was injured.millarsaint wrote:A possible reason for delaying the elevation after Lenny's injury may have been to decide if Eddy was going to get it. He's been injured (?) I think so he's been a little unlucky so far this year.
And with regards to Kosi in the first grand final my view is that we may well have won that game if Gard's wasn't injured!
The bagging of Eddy is cheap, easy and actually ignorant.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.
