Not the Same
Couldn't wait for Ross's aftermatch speech and wow what a beauty, we now now that they are not the same players anymore.
If they have had a change of identity who is responsible?

It seems the Cats have remained very competitive. Even in their slightly off year in 2010. Why?
We've got no excuses. It seems we're happy enough for "nearly" or "could have been". Sadly too many St Kilda greats have been subject to this very attitude, and they've faded off into history. I thought we had a group who was bigger than this? Breaks your heart.

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Re: Not the Same
I have run out of grass and tissues and was hoping for something a little more substantial from the bloke running the show. What did I want him to say? Let's start with a real reason why we have gone from top to bottom...."they arern't the same" ? please.maverick wrote:Do you need some tissues or some grass for that scapegoat? The Fireman wrote:Couldn't wait for Ross's aftermatch speech and wow what a beauty, we now now that they are not the same players anymore.

They don't look the same to me.
BJ and Roo are top 5 in the comp, they are barely good enough to get a game at present.

if he walks, or gets the arse, we will find it difficult to attract played or get a top line coach, he would want to comeiwantmeseats wrote:Ross does not help his cause sometimes with the way he puts things. Listening to him talk pre game today and other times over the past two weeks, I get the strong sense he has just about had enough. I would not be surprised if he actually walks at years end. Not surprised at all.
I love this club

I certainly wouldn't wait for a press conference to see what was going on.

Why would a club make an offer to a coach that has failed to win a premiership and abandoned the team in downward spiral that he helped create?bobmurray wrote:That depends on whether he gets an offer from another club which makes him walk...skeptic wrote:If RL jumped ship now... Some of the comments on this thread are like those posts saying player X is useless - let's trade him.bobmurray wrote:That depends on whether he gets an offer from another club which makes him walk...skeptic wrote:If RL jumped ship now... IMO it would reflect very poorly on him
Posters claiming we should give Ross the axe cos he's not up to it; he's a one trick pony; the game's passed him by etc etc. But some other club might nonetheless make him an offer he can't refuse!
