False logic... in spite of their poor performances they may still be playing better than the other options on the list.SainterX wrote:If these guys were not following the coaches orders they would have been dropped already, so clearly they are.

Mate not suggesting playing the entire seconds team. But how long can we persist with players like Gram not giving a yelp? Not even putting any pressure on. And hey, our kids are no longer kids...many of them have been running around in the VFL for two-three years now...mullet wrote:You cant just bring all the kids in. They would loose by 10+ goals every week and their confidence would be shot.twirlyhair wrote:Time for some of our big guns to be given a run in the seconds....going through the motions, play the kids, at least they are not mentally affected...because that is all it is. Its all in the head.
So sick of hearing this, look how many kids are out there this week. It has to be a gradual thing. Getting the perfect balance is hard.

Sam Fisher anyone? We would be the laughing stock without him if we aren't already the laughing stock.saintgus wrote:GSG wrote:Dawson - for god's sake!!!!
Should Dal Santo be traded?? He seems to have constantly bad days?
Dal Santo has been our best player this year. No way can we trade him

I think we're seeing as many kids in the team as we're going to see already this season. If the senior players can't extract a digit, no amount of noobies will address the issue.twirlyhair wrote:Mate not suggesting playing the entire seconds team. Don't agree. When the stars are not performing they should be dropped. remember Milne and Dal Santo got dropped a few years ago and came back stronger.mullet wrote:You cant just bring all the kids in. Big questions mark over the midfield coaching though

Gram played ok last week. So that is why he is in this weeks team. You cant drop a player half way through a game, unless you sub him, which I believe we have already done.twirlyhair wrote:Mate not suggesting playing the entire seconds team. I just wanna know why this is entirely the playing lists fault and Rossy gets off scot freeInkerSaint wrote:False logic... in spite of their poor performances they may still be playing better than the other options on the list.SainterX wrote:If these guys were not following the coaches orders they would have been dropped already, so clearly they are.
If Sheedy had peddled the same game plan forever he never would have lasted 20+ years at the Bombers, good coaches adapt with the times. And the time is now!

Only thing keeping them in this Hawks kicking at goal.
Only thing keeping them in this Hawks kicking at goal and Sam FISHER.
Some have been absolutely disgraceful - GRAM, STEVEN, GODDARD, JONES, and McEVOY have been pityfull.
Steven KING and Robert HARVEY should be held accountable now! We have the worst centre bounce sets in the comp. McEVOY is rucking against a full forward and still cant hit a ball to our advantage.

Yeah but you can drop him next week...which we wont do. Comes a time when you have to really make a stand as coach. You will lose games, but we are in pre-season for next year now. Time to look to the future.mullet wrote:Gram played ok last week. So that is why he is in this weeks team. Siposs has passion. Any suggestion that he's not ready is laughable - he's currently doing a lot more than his experienced counterparts.

I still dont know the score, some match thread. More people come on when we are losing than when we were blitzing in first quarter.

Another to Siposs.
Hawks reply - back to 4 goals down.

Surely is not coincidence that those with the most passion today like Siposs are the guys who have not had our game plan drilled into them hardcore yet, so feel the freedom to still play openly. Everyone else seems to have had the game plan drilled into them so hard that they seem to be simply going through the motions, like drones
If we can chase down Carlton from further back surely we can knock these guys off still, go Saints
