What changed? Did we stop attacking like the first quarter???
Anyone watching can you shine a light please
Our talls went to water... Roo and Kosi can't hold onto a mark.
Our only hope now basically is to outlast them with a longer bench.

I believe that if the coach can get the saints in the right headspace we can be a competitive team.
after the premiership the hawks fell away badly in 09 and 10, now they are rising again.
we still have a great talent pool.
If the coach can get them in the right headspace, nothing saying we can't drink from the well again.
our talent is comparative to geelong and collingwood, its what we do with it that counts.
and yes I believe that.
Guys like mqualter, armo etc are sufficient in talent, remember not so long ago, anyone and everyone slotted into our team and did well.
Now we are crap, nothing changes that much.
our hearts are broken from GF losses. its up to the players and the coach to find out if the desire is still there.
at the moment, not enough from the players.

Hate to say it but I think BJ now needs a day out in the 2's. He is not adding value despite his potential.LaUrEnCe wrote:Still smashing us in the centre
Secondly, I think its disgusting that we cant win the ruck with their 2 rucks missing from the game.
Thirdly we are not only losing the rucks but the clearances are way too easy for Hawthorn. When we get the ball we dont protect players and continually cough up the ball.
I hate to say it but watch the better performing sides. They all use protection techniques to allow the ball handlers to become creative. We get creative from flukes and the unusual shape of our game's ball.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

If these guys were not following the coaches orders they would have been dropped already, so clearly they are.
Alves, Thomas, Blight, Watson all got sacked on the spur of the moment, why is it suddenly the players fault and on this occasion not the coaches?

A true king doesn't glass his girlfriend.
A true king doesn't smear his blood on an opponent when he cannot break a tag.
A true king does not label umpires disgraceful.
A true king is Robert Harvey.

You cant just bring all the kids in. They would loose by 10+ goals every week and their confidence would be shot.twirlyhair wrote:Time for some of our big guns to be given a run in the seconds....going through the motions, play the kids, at least they are not mentally affected...because that is all it is. Its all in the head.
So sick of hearing this, look how many kids are out there this week. It has to be a gradual thing. Getting the perfect balance is hard.
