Well you are right mcqualter has been a dud all except for 2008/9 he had ok seasons but we had other great players around him.He is now shown up and has been for a long while.
He carnt kick does not tackle is slow and turns it over so what use is he better off persisting with the young guys at least they will give a go.

Should add gram to that list, sorry bloke ya spend way to long looking into a mirror,
What do you think jonesy....rather than just commenting on what i think...
Goddard......is he in the right position, match up???
Game breaker, and now he has turned him into a tagger......and nick, our other gun, reduced to playing as a crash and bash target for the high ball.....
What next, milney playing as a small defender.....dal a tagger
I think one of ross's aims is to make every player on the list be a GOP

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Knows everything when we lose...didn't hear from him in 2009/2010Thinline wrote:Apply for the job, Big Mart. You know everything. You'd be a shoe in.BigMart wrote:What do you think jonesy....rather than just commenting on what i think...

As for BJ playing on squibbsy Mart,he's virtually our premier player, not asking him to much to play on someone decent,it's what good players are supposed to do
Him and Roo are out of form, hardly Lyon's fault.
Bring back the Lockett era
Just an pbservation, what do you think?? Again instead of a silly comment, give us a thought....
One things for sure....we will have another coach in 2012...
It will not be me...No, but it will be another...
And all the in ross we trust posters will turn on him soon....around R13...perhaps you will be one
I for one think ross has been outstanding, until this year....he made a fatal decision

So tired of seeing the same ineffective, negative footy from McQualter the superdud. Lyon the moron needs to give a chance to more young players that naturally try to take the game on like Sippos did in the last quarter. McQualter would try to go sideways even if he was in the goalsquare! He is pathetic, no wonder Maxwell showed him absolutely no respect in the GF. Ran off him at will because he knew the dud was never going to be damaging on the scoreboard.

Mini won some hard ball and made some good tackles, including a crucial holding the ball. He made some mistakes, but he wasn't Robinson Crusoe there.
You anonymous Internet heroes are infantile in the way you all gang up on one player and bag the crap out of him. I'd like to see some of you on an AFL field. Actually I wouldn't: the rear end of a brown-stained pair of shorts in retreat is not a pretty sight.

Ha! I just envisaged 44 bespectacled jelly donuts in undersized footy gear unable to concentrate on the game for fear of missing the chance to sledge Raph on a net forum...meher baba wrote:Mini won some hard ball and made some good tackles, including a crucial holding the ball. Last time i checked i wasn't paid good money to play AFL. i am paid to do my job and i do a much better job of it than what he is doing of playing football. It is not just tonight we have been bagging him. We are sick of seeing him out there. It is 2 years since he played a decent game. Just get rid of him

IF we as a club get rid of Lyon then we have lost ethe plot.
You have made some valid points in the past re Lyon but you over emphasis the coach and dont put enough emphasis on players being responsible for their performance.
Goddard was a star in 2009/2010....now you reckon Lyon is somehow turning him into a dud? Wake up. These guys are paid AFL professional footballers who when they cross that line are RESPONSIBLE for their efforts.
Stop taking the simplistic view and blaming the coach - start looking for where some of the blame lies. Riewoldts goal kicking is deplorable. Goddard is in/out of the game and is now struggling with some opposition attention - HE needs to work through that in the manner Hayes, Harvey etc have done before him.
