So what are YOU going to do about the current situation?
as a supporter what are you going to aid the team in re generating it's enthusiasm and sparkle....?
are you going to jump of quicker than the Captain of the Titanic ?
are you going to hide in a Hole like Sadam..
are you going to kick them while their down and prove to them that some supporters seem to feel more comfortable and happier to debate issues when things aren't going well.... Crowsss... picking the carcass before it's even declared.
Or are you going to offer support- send them a note
turn up at games
yell and cheer,
email, sms, facebook, phone
SDomeone mentioned Schneids only looking to next Monday-- well turning it around starts there- they cannot burden themselves more by thinking about the last thrashing or the last time they played or where the ladder position is.
they- as they appear to be doing-need to concentrate on Quarter 1 Monday 9th.... beat your opponent, help your team mate beat his opponent. kick the goal, and then the next....
Surely the least we can do is offer that support through encouragement- Numbers at games, sound at games, make eye contact and tell them we believe they can turn it around and WIN - starting with1 quarter then 1 game.
and yes I am aware that things may not turn as far as we would like But taking little steps forward will help....

I'll turn up on Monday night.
I'll be tired and maybe grumpy as its a work day and start of the week.
I fully expect we will get thumped so will be happy with half a decent game.
When you have low expectations, it's hard to be disappointed!
Sorry if I'm glass half realistic lol!

Get on the bongs in front of recordings of '09 H and A games?
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

I'll be there, yelling passionately as always. I'll be pestering all Saints to come and outnumber the scum, and then to cheer loudly.
Not worried about the diehards on this site, we are the lifeblood of the club.
It's the fairweather 'supporters' who become interested when we are winning who concern me. Hopefully some of these have become emotionally invested for good post 2004-2010, and we don't drop off to early decade support levels if we tumble badly, or worse still the mid 90s when we almost died.
STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY.

despite working nights all week, travelling from geelong, having to sit upstairs because social club area is sold out.... I will get out there and show my support.
Will also write a letter and perhaps an email to the club pledging my support.
