Has he offered more than Archers 1 kick game/ or Stanleys for that matter? or Kosi's kickless game last week????????BigMart wrote:Wtf would just applying fwd pressure going to get him a pass mark
He needs to get a kick also.....
If a forward is ever picked because they can pressure.....we are f***ed all players on the field must be able to do that...as one half of thier job.
FFS we dont have Ryan Okeefe awaiting a game in the two's - we're looking for an improvement on what weve seen from Kosi, Stanley and Archer thus far and if Johnson comes in and at the least ramps up the tackles/fwd pressure and brings others into the game IN HIS FIRST GAME ....right now I'll take it.
I saw plenty of games from Hamill where he hardly troubled the stats man....but geez he impacted the game....
IF Johnson does this in game 1 - I'll back him to get his goals in time as he learns toplay AFL alongside Riewoldts and co...attitude is friggin hard to teach....a player with a hunger for the ball/contest to the point they hunt/seek that is the pre-requisite for mine.
good post.......i'd be happy if he could do that....i think he has the ability to succeed
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

The area that has f$#@ed us this year is the lack of pressure on the ball leaving our forward line, well besides not being able to get clearances from our non existing rucks. Will is a defender and can bring that to the forward line, he loves to get the run going as well. Gamble looks like he doesn't care when the ball comes out and Milney is a great goal sneak but they brush him off like a mosquito when he tackles. Big Will can be that guy with the Mini clamp like tackles and a bit of run and attack thrown in, if he can slow the crows release from the backline he will be worth his weight in gold. Archer was great at getting into position, but he didn't stop the ball coming out- even Kosi does tackle when he isn't kicking goals. If Will doesn't make the role his own we will probably try Raph in the same spot.
