5 handballs, 0 kicks, 7 hitouts, 0 marks.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt the role of a Full Forward is to KICK goals?? Also half way through the 3rd qtr his stats were 2 handballs, 2 hitouts

On the positive side, the only way is up. The fact that an opponent stood on his ankle just shows his luck.

So glad to have him back, obviously the difference this week.
Where is he running next week? He didn't run tonight.

I give him leeway for first run-itis, but there's no other rucks/talls so get used to it.

And however off pace he was tonight he was twice the player Rhys was in terms of making a contest.

Stanley needs to make a call - am I or aren't I? If the former, work like a dog...

yeah, you'd hope so. a couple of 9 day breaks might help him and any others work their way into it.

Fair point, though I was referring to their respective goal returns.

BTW, how's the virtual Kosi going, or have you got him playing for the virtual Zebs

I thought Stanley's performance was more concerning than Kosi's. Kosi's performance was almost predictable - very under done, with virtually no pre-season.

Stanley failed to impose himself at all.

Ah well yea they both had big fat donuts in that area!!!

Virtual Kosi kicked a goal the other night :o but what you saw tonight pretty much sums up virtual Kosi aswell....

He was awful tonight. Not just unfit, bumped off the ball so easily and just run off effortlessly...would love to see him fit and firing, but not sure we'll ever see him play good football again.

I thought the form of both Kosi and Stanley were concerning. Both were pushed off the ball far too easily. Yes Kosis had no preseason but you dont rally need one to just use your weight and bulk to even just hold your ground, let alone getting into a marking position

Stanley was shoved around like he was a 17 y/o on debut...or like he'd had no preseaon cos he acted like a tool on a preseason camp perhaps?

...meanwhile a kid ruckman in his 2nd game for Brisbane imposed himself far more than either of the above.

          Stanley = finished IMO.

Can't see him at our club on 2012.

Explain to me why you would play Kosi tonight?

He is underdone, unfit, has no match conditioning, and the conditions were wet.
For heavans sake give him 3 or 4 games for Sandy before even considering him.
          He was USELESS tonight.

Seems to be what Ross does with best 22 players, played Gram and Roo last year well before they were ready.

IMO we need him more as a second ruck,Ben is not setting the world on fire, especially when you consider richmond, ess, lions rucks have not been so strong.Gardiner is a way off still, and Stanley not up to it yet We need at least 2 tall forwards, just cant see anyone else to fill those 2 rolls

And kosi was going to help???

He is a good MOBILE number 2 ruck......but he aint fit, so loses mobility and timing, therefore is no good really....

We will get cleaned up in the clearances all year, dont have the peronnel to counter other teams at stoppages...

Gards and lenny leave a big hole
